The top of energy and the environment in the hill

Record

On his first day in his post, President Trump signed an executive declaration of a new era of “US energy launch”. Since then, the White House announced a state of national energy emergency, exited the Paris agreements, and the National Council established energy dominance.

Recently, in his speech to a joint session of Congress, President Trump has pledged to intensify local fossil fuels and metal production quickly, all as he promised “drilling, child, drilling”. Meanwhile, Canada has briefly slapped the electricity tariff throughout Michigan, Minnesota and New York, only to be suspended after a short period, which is an unintended result of this new climate of trade and energy.

How do stakeholders adapt to climate and energy quickly with these changing policies? What does this mean for the future of American energy and environmental policy? Where will the country fit international climate efforts? How will the new way to move forward affect the ordinary Americans?

Join us at the Hill’s Energy & Environment Summit, where we will gather government leaders, sustainability and global energy solutions to discuss all of the above and more.
