The International Non -Party Energy Agency suggests that New York will benefit from more millionaires

The Citizen Budget Committee (CBC), a non -party research tank, argued that millionaires are necessary to finance critical services in New York City and the city must work to keep it.

“The millionaires represent the tax base in New York. In 2012, it consisted of less than 1 percent of the amounts residing in New York and New York City, however they paid 44 percent and 40 percent of the state and the city’s personal and the city, respectively,” CBC said in a report on Thursday.

The group added: “The owners of millions in New York are decisively important for the financial and economic army of New York. Perhaps there is no better way to finance the necessary services in a critical way than keeping millions in New York.”

The report added, “Not to keep, attract or increase the number of millionaires has an invisible cost,” the report added.

This report comes amid the emergence of the democratic municipal candidate in New York City, Zahran Mamdani, the democratic socialism that shocked political observers in June by beating former ruler Andrew Como (D) in the democratic preliminary elections.

In an interview with CNN, in June, Erine Burnett asked Mamdani about his view of capitalism.

“Do you like capitalism?” Burnett asked.

“No, I have many capital criticism,” Mamdani answered.

Mamdani Kristen Wilker also told NBC News in June that he did not think that “we must have billionaires because, frankly, it is a lot of money at the moment of inequality.”
