The first publication in the United States of America by FEDEX


NSTE and Fedex agreed to supply 8,800 metric tons (more than three million gallons) of NSTE mixed sustainable airline fuel™ To Fedex at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). It is the largest SAF purchase by an American airline in LaX to date. The fuel mixture purchases will be calculated for almost five of all jet fuel that you consume annually by FEDEX in LAX*.

The fuel purchase by FEDEX is the first major publication in the United States by FEDEX and builds on years of company efforts to participate in creating innovative sustainable flight technologies with other industry leaders. Through this agreement, the FEDEX bought the mixed fuel from NSTE, which includes at least 30 % elegant, i.e. unparalleled NSTE sustainable aviation fuel. Fuel delivery began in May 2025 and will last for one year.

“Buying SAF is an important component in the strategy of reducing our aviation emissions in the coming years, and we are pleased to implement a deal with NSTE to start using this fuel in our air operations,” said Karen Blanc Ellis, Sustainable Summary and Vice President of Environmental Affairs in Fedex. “Our airline is the largest amount of FedEx Fuel in the world, and as a result, it is our biggest chance to reduce emissions. We are working to achieve our goal of Nigerian carbon operations by 2040, we need the SAF market to continue to grow to meet the demand for industry.”
