The ECS 35 -year -old group celebrates Genair

The ECS group was characterized by the thirty -fifth anniversary of its Spanish subsidiary, Genair, a leading force in the country’s cargo industry. Since its establishment in 1990 by Jesús Escolar, Genair has grown from a bold vision to lead to a leader in the trusted market, as GSSA services are provided throughout Spain.

Starting in only three employees and elementary airlines employees and Egypt-in the Madrid office, Genair has evolved into an operation worldwide with five main offices and four additional sites based on the customer. Today, the company represents six airlines, and provides road feeding services (RFS) for the main European airports, and has served more than 350 shipping shipments. In 2024 alone, Genair dealt with more than 91,000 tons of export goods and its treatment of 75,428 AWBS, reflecting the scale and consistency of its operations.

Since joining ECS Group in 1999, Genair has managed to manage more than 1.177 million tons of goods, confirming its long impact on the logistical scene in Spain, and accelerating its digital transformation with reaching global levels. It now works with APollo and Quantum tools, special tools in the ECS group, as well as Cargospot and Skypallet, advanced solutions provided by the close ECS Group partner, Cargotech. These tools contain workflow flows, improve planning, and enhance customer service in all fields.

After Jesús Escolar put the institution, Paco Ortega continued to work as a 2010 administrative manager on the year. Under the leadership of Baku, Jenner has reached new prospects for excellence and penetration of the market. During this period, ECS Group companies were restructured in Spain, helping the group to strengthen its main location, which will continue today. Currently, ECS Group represents 25 % of the total air export market in Spain.

“The story of Jenner is the story of vision and adaptation, and above all, people,” said Nacho Ruiz, Managing Director of Spain. “We are incredibly proud of the journey that we have taken – building permanent relationships, growing alongside our partners, staying faithful to our values. We look at the future, we continue to focus on sustainable innovation and continue to lead the Spanish air freight market with integrity and ambition.”

“Genair completely embodies the spirit and flexibility that defines the ECS group. For 35 years, they surrendered excellence, paid innovation, and remained committed to customers and societies,” added Jean Sikkaldi, CEO of ECS.

Despite the great progress in digitization, Genair is still deeply rooted in human values. The company is famous for its sincere and experienced team, and many of them have been with the company for decades. This coherent culture has been fixed since 1990, which is now completed by Genair’s increasing participation in sustainability and social initiatives-which makes it a reliable and responsible partner in the rapid air freight sector today.
