The baltic index reaches almost two weeks when the larger ship falls


The Baltic Exchange Baltic Sea Transport Index, which monitors tariffs for ships moving dry bulk commodities, down to the lowest level two weeks on Wednesday, is pressed with a lower rate for capsize ships and Panamax.

The price of iron ore futures rose for the second session in a row, because Goldman Sachs raised an estimated average price for the fourth quarter of this year to $ 95 per metric ton from $ 90 per ton before.

The Panamax index released 45 points, or 2.6% to 1,719 points.

The average daily income for Panamax ships, which usually carry 60,000-70,000 tons of coal or seeds, down $ 405 to $ 15,471.

Among the smaller ships, the Supramax index rose 1 point to 1,467 points.
