Swissport has appointed Steven Polmans as Senior Vice President, Global Cargo

• Swissport has appointed Stephen Polmans as its new Vice President Global Cargo, bringing more than 20 years of experience to the role.
• He will lead global shipping operations, drive strategy, and advance Swissport’s innovation agenda as it targets significant growth. Polmans has previously led major efforts to transform the freight sector and is expected to strengthen the company’s position as a major global player in air freight.

Swissport, a global aviation services company, has appointed Stephen Polmans as Global Senior Vice President, Cargo, reporting directly to the Head of Global Cargo.

With more than two decades of experience in the aviation industry and a proven track record in developing and implementing effective cargo strategies, Polmans will oversee Swissport’s global air cargo operations. In this role, he will focus on driving the company’s global cargo strategy, enhancing commercial performance, and strengthening Swissport’s position as an innovative, value-added partner in the air cargo value chain.
