South Carolina Republic: High prices “for the country’s interest”

Representative Ralph Norman (RS.C.) acknowledged that the public sees higher prices as a result of the definitions imposed by President Trump, but he argued that commercial reform is “in favor of the country.”

“I think many people see higher prices. Our family in the field of construction, and we get a lot of wood from Canada and other countries. Yes, it is higher. Steel prices rise, but they are intended for the country,” Norman said on Saturday on Fox News when he asked him to explain the network survey in July shows that 55 percent of Americans have not been presented to the president’s call to the economy.

“Should we expect high prices for a short period? Yes,” Norman, who runs to become the next South Carolina governor, told host John Scott.

“But in general, we have not been able to continue on our way. Cancer in this country allowed other countries to reach today and impose taxes on our products.” “And why should we manage a deficit every month? For this reason, this president does a good job.”

Trump’s last tour of the “mutual” definitions entered into force on Thursday, which affected dozens of countries, as the president reorganizes trade relations all over the world.

Almost all imports will face a 10 percent tariff. Some countries, such as Syria, face a 41 percent tariff, while others such as South Korea and Japan staring at 15 percent of the import tax.

Norman said: “You cannot continue … as you know, the polls are different. They come, and they come down, but the bottom line is, it does the right thing, and it may come in a better time, and if things will improve here,” Norman said.
