Saudi Arabia’s expansion of its fleet with a wet rental agreement
Saudia Cargo has announced the addition of the Cargo Airbus A330-300p2f, MSN 1272, to its fleet under a wet rental agreement with ASL AVIORIATIONITINGS, a global aviation services company. This strategic expansion confirms the commitment of both companies to enhance global air charging capabilities and communication.
The plane arrived at Shannon Airport (SNN) in mid -June after the P2F converted, where it was drawn in Saudi Arabia’s shipment. The plane was previously registered with the name N810CM, the plane will work on the ARLINES Ireland as Ei-LKD.
These are the first two planes under this wet rental agreement. The first A330-300p2f is expected to start in service with the ASSLINES Ireland in September 2025 before being delivered to Saudi Arabia’s shipping in the fourth quarter. The second plane is scheduled to reach the fourth quarter. The ACMI (aircraft, staff, maintenance and insurance) includes comprehensive operating support, such as custom crews, a strong maintenance program, and insurance.
The introduction of this aircraft is the return of the A330F type to the ARLINES IRLAND fleet. The plane will join the world fleet of the airline, where air freight services are provided on a wide network of more than 50 regular destinations across Europe, North America and Asia, with the support of a fleet of 40 aircraft.
The A330-300p2f will complete the current ASL Airlines fleet in B737 and ATR72, providing costly new opportunities for goods customers in global markets. With its ability to transport both fast parcels and the largest goods, the plane can cover up to 6850 km (3700 nautical miles) and carry up to 62 tons (115,808 pounds) of the lower load available, with 26 platforms available on the main deck and 11 degrees (32 LD3) in low load.
