Russian ESPO mixture oil exports from Kozmino will drop 2% in September, said the source

Russia plans to bring down the Espo Blend oil from the Port of Kozmino Far in September to 4 million metric tons (about one million barrels per day) from 4.2 million tons in August, two sources who are familiar with the plan said.

Every day the loading of Espo from Kozmino will drop a little below 2% in September compared to August, Reuters calculations show.

Oil exports from the Port of Kozmino have increased since July, remaining stable by around one million BPD as a pipeline system and the port capacity has increased, traders said.

Espo Blend is the value of Russia’s mainstay oil for the loading of the Asian market from the Far East. Russia is trying to maximize oil content for the East because European countries have banned the supply of energy since 2022.
