Rubio says that Wittakov returns with Russia’s proposal to stop the shooting

Foreign Minister Marco Rubio said on Wednesday that the US envoy Steve Witkeov will return from Moscow with a peace framework between Russia and Ukraine.

“The time specified for it is not discussed,” said Rubio Larry Kudlo during his appearance on Fox Business Channel.

He added: “I think what we have is a better understanding of the circumstances according to which Russia will be ready to end the war. We have to compare it to what is the Ukrainian and our European allies, but the Ukrainians in the first place, of course, are ready to accept it.”

Witkoff cleared information from talks in Russia with Kremlin’s progress in the Kyiv strike and the cities surrounding its war with Ukraine.

In the past, Russian President Vladimir Putin prompted the Crimea and additional lands before removing soldiers from the front lines.

Rubio did not specify the circumstances that Wittouf collected during his meeting on Wednesday with leaders in Moscow, but stressed the importance of the exhibition of agreement on both countries.

“I think for the first time, perhaps since this administration started, we have some concrete examples of the types of things that Russia will ask for to end the war. We haven’t had much to this point,” Rubio said.

“It is clear that the Ukrainians have an opinion on this. We have come to that – we have come to bring the two sides and fair ones closely enough so that President Trump can ultimately participate and achieve this,” he added.

Trump has indicated that he could soon hold direct talks with Putin and Ukrainian President Folodimir Zelinski to achieve the management goal of ending the conflict.
