Residential construction of the NYT CEO with red paint
The residential building was sabotaged in Manhattan where the New York Times editor, Joseph, was Lerge, early on Friday, while it appeared to be criticized against covering the paper for the war in Gaza.
“Joe was dying Gaza”, read a message with the empty paint written in front of the entrance to the building, located in the village of Greenwich, according to the scene pictures.
Other pictures showed the building distorted with red paint.
The New York Police Administration (NYPD) reports to GRAFITI reports at the site before 5 am on Friday, in a statement by NBC News and New York Post.
“Upon arrival, the officers noticed the paint on the front steps and doors on the site above,” the New York police said in the statement.
A spokesman for the Times of Element confirmed that the executive editor has been targeted in the accident.
“People are free to differ with the New York Times reports, but sabotage and targeting individuals and their families cross a line and we will work with the authorities to address it,” Charlie Stadeller, Executive Director of Media and Communications said in a statement.
The accident came a month after the Times office in Manhattan was sabotaged by Red Paint, leaving a message saying: “NYT lies in Gaza,” according to NBC News.
“As an independent news organization, we receive regularly criticism from those who represent firm views, hoping to change our reports,” said a spokesman at the time.
“While we support the right of groups and individuals to express their point of view, we will not allow the call groups to stop us from the complete and impartial coverage of the conflict.”
