Racca mourns Farid Smith, Fedex Founder

In a statement, the Racca Air Transport Association (Racca) added their ideas and feelings regarding the death of Farid Smith. They wrote: “Racca sends his heartfelt condolences and joins the aviation community in the mourning of the death of Farid Smith, the optical commander and founder of FEDEX. He turned his vision of air charging and inspiring generations throughout the industry.

“Our deepest condolences for the Fedex family and all the lives that affected it through his transformational work.”
