Pritzker: 400 Texas Watanic guards heading to Illinois, Oregon

JB Pritzker (D) said on Sunday that hundreds of members of the National Guard in Texas were heading to his mandate and Oregon and described it as “Trump’s invasion.”

“This evening, President Trump asks 400 members of the National Guard Publishing to Illinois, Oregon, and other sites inside the United States. No federal government officials have contacted me to discuss or coordinate,” Pritzker said on a topic on the social platform on Sunday.

He added: “We must now start naming this what it is: Trump’s invasion. He has started with federal agents, and it will soon include the deployment of federal members of the National Guard in Illinois against our desires, and it will now include sending other military forces.”

In a publication in response to Pritzker, the governor of Texas Greg Abbott (R) said that he “completely authorized the president to contact 400 members of the National Guard in Texas to ensure the safety of federal officials.”

He added: “You can either impose full protection for federal employees or get out of the road and allow the Texas to be guarded.” “No guard can match training, skill and experience of the National Guard in Texas.”

In recent months, Trump has sent the National Guard to multiple cities, including Los Angeles, Washington, DC, Mumtis, Tin, angered the locals and Democrats.

Earlier on Sunday, the Oregon Prosecutor Dan Rivild said he was “preparing to take legal action” against Trump to send him the National Guard forces in California to Bever after a federal judge stopped mobilizing the forces in Portland, Uri.

“We are rapidly evaluating our options and preparing for legal action. We will continue to share the updates as we have,” Rivild said on Sunday in a post on the social platform X.

California Governor Gavin New Off (D) said on Sunday that the president was “publishing 300 California National Guard employees, Oregon,” adding that the forces “are on their way there now.”

“We are returning this battle to the court. The public cannot remain silent in the face of such reckless and authoritarian behavior by the President of the United States.”
