Portugal orders 12 Super Tucano Super Tucano


The Portuguese National Defense signed a contract with Embraer (NYSE: ERJ/B3: Embr3) to obtain 12 A-29n Super Tucanos, which will prepare the Portuguese Air Force, making Portugal a customer of the new variable of this advanced coach and light attack. This acquisition reflects Portugal’s commitment to updating its airspace through a multi -use plane and installed, ideally suitable for advanced experimental training, light attack, nearby air support (CAS), intelligence, monitoring, monitoring, and reconnaissance (ISR).

The A-29n Super Tucano variable includes advanced aviation electronics, NATO communication systems and other unprepared new capabilities designed to meet the operational requirements of Portugal. With this purchase, Portugal becomes the first country to run the A-29N, which leads to the adoption of a very capable platform designed to support a wide range of modern defensive tasks.
