Platts included SA Jewel FSU in a Singapore fuel oil cargo, ex MOC dock bunker from 22 October
Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, has included the SA Jewel vessel as an additional loading point in the Platts Singapore Market on Close assessment process for ex-dock cargo and bunkers for 0.5% marine fuel and 380 CST HSFO from 22 October 2025.
SA Jewel (IMO 9244867) is operated by Southern Ace Marine Sdn. Bhd. as a floating storage unit in Kukup, Malaysia.
Platts first proposed including FSU as an additional loading point in a customer note published September 10 (opens in a new tab), with a customer note further confirming FSU’s inclusion following name, flag and ownership changes published October 8 (opens in a new tab).
There are currently 12 FSUs approved as additional loading points in the FOB Singapore cargo MOC process and ex-dock bunkers for 0.5% Marine Fuel and 380 CST HSFO. The standards applicable to approved FSUs require sellers to specifically state the name of the vessel used as a loading point when submitting a bid to Platts for publication.
Any oil bids from vessels accredited for the cargo MOC process and ex-dock FOB Singapore for 0.5% marine fuel and 380 CST HSFO will be based on FOB FSU.
The seller cannot unilaterally nominate an approved vessel as a loading point in FOB Straits trade.
