Nor-Shipping revealed ‘Talent forming the Future’ with the Award for Youth Entrepreneurs 2025 Short List

Nor-Shipping, in a partnership with Youngship, today revealed a short list for the award of young entrepreneurs Nor-sending this year, with the encouragement to decarify, digitalize, and provide greater inclusiveness in the maritime industry to be the center of attention.

Stipulated to be presented on June 2 at Nor-Shipping’s After Work ‘Kick-off’ at the famous leier site in Oslo, a prestigious award celebrates under the 40s that makes waves with a commercially decent solution to overcome the challenges of the main marine industry. Previous winners include Cristina Alexendri, COO and one of the founders of Bound4Blue, and Boyan Slat, CEO of Ocean Cleanup.

The quartet chosen by the expert industry panel, after the intense competition and discussion, are: are: are:

• Joachim Bachmann Nielsen, CEO/CTO Kvasir Technologies, a company that converts low -value biomass into sea fuel that can be discharged and neutral carbon;
• Fabian Fussek, Co-Founder & CEO of Kaiko Systems, AI-powered platforms that help shipping companies improve safety, compliance, and maintenance;
• Josephine Le, founder of the hood platform, digital hub broke the obstacles in maritime recruitment and support the next generation’s talent; And
• Alisha Fredriksson, CEO and co-founder seebound, climate technology innovators that develop onboard carbon capture systems for shipping emissions that are difficult to store.
