NATO rushes the planes after Russian strikes near Romania

Two German combat aircraft were sent to the borders of Romania with Ukraine on Tuesday in response to Russian attacks in the region.

Moscow targeted the Ukrainian ports on the Danube, according to the Romanian Ministry of National Defense.

However, no interventions from the Russian forces were discovered during the German mission.

The Romanian Ministry of National Defense said in a statement on Wednesday: “The close cooperation with the allies during the improved air police duties enhances the defense capacity of Romania and contributes to deterring NATO and defense on the eastern side.”

Despite these escalations, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova warned on Monday the NATO leaders against the deployment of forces in Ukraine.

Earlier this month, Russia struck the civil infrastructure in the Ismail Ukraine region near Romania. Defense officials have deployed two Roman F-16 fighters in response to the near attack.

In recent weeks, NATO leaders have increased pressure on the Kremlin as its war with Ukraine continues after three years.

European leaders met with President Trump at the White House this week alongside Ukrainian President Folodimir Zellinski in an attempt to unify peace in the region.

Last week, Trump also met with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska to discuss the end of the conflict.

But Moscow continued its attacks on its neighbor. On Monday, Putin ordered a major attack overnight on the energy infrastructure in Ukraine, followed by a drone strike on Wednesday on Okhtyrka, which was injured 14 people, including a family with young children.

Both hunger also caused large -scale fires.

“In total, more than 60 birds of drones and a ballistic missile were used,” Zelinski wrote in a publication on Wednesday on social media, with damage to damage.

He added: “All these illustrative strikes only confirm the need to pressure Moscow, and the need to impose new penalties and new definitions in order for diplomacy to be completely effective.”

Trump refrained from the punishment of Russian commercial partners, but he remained determined to end the war.
