Munich Airport is closed shortly after drones scenes
The airport announced in a press statement that Munich Airport in Germany temporarily closed Thursday evening after several unmanned scenes.
The airport said that German air traffic control restricts air traffic for the first time at 10:18 pm local time, and then suspended all incoming and departing flights.
The airport added that 17 departure flights were unable to take off from Munich, while 15 trips were transferred to Stuttgart, Nourpembe Vienna and Frankfurt. The airport and airlines provided the family, blankets, beverages, and snacks for passengers on departure flights.
“When a drone is seen, the safety of travelers is the top priority,” airport officials added in the statement. “The reporting was created between air traffic control, airport and police authorities for years.

Munich is located in the southern German state of Bavaria. Last week, several drones were seen on the northern German state of Sleging Holstein, which borders Denmark.
Many airports in Denmark, including in Copenhagen, temporarily closed due to the observations of drones last week. The Danish Ministry of Defense said on Saturday that drones had been monitored on some military bases.
Before the European Union Summit in Copenhagen on Wednesday, Germany, France and Sweden, it pledged to provide anti -Baron Military capabilities, according to the country’s Ministry of Defense on Monday.
On Wednesday, the foundations were closed in Terisianoise – where Munich’s celebration is held at the October Festival – due to the threat of bombs. Local police have identified a 57 -year -old man, who died due to a clear suicide, as a suspect.
