Menzies Aviation is scheduled to expand Masil operations at Mosul International Airport


Menzies Aviation has announced that it will provide air and air merchandise services at Mosul International Airport (OSM) in Iraq through Masil, its joint project with Iraqi Airways, Air BP and Al-Burhan.

One full operation, MASIL will provide a full range of OSM flight services, under a new 10 -year license, which increases its imprint in the region. This depends on Masil operations at Baghdad International Airport (BGW).

MASIL provided the ground services for the presidential trip that indicates the official OSM reopening. The journey, which was attended by the Prime Minister in Iraq, Muhammad Xia El -Sudani, represented a historic moment in the history of the airport, which has been impractical since 2014.

The teacher emphasizes the capabilities of the joint project and its willingness to support future air traffic at the airport that was activated.

Mosul International Airport has undergone intense rebuilding and is now equipped with a major station, a VIP hall and advanced radar monitoring system. The airport is expected to work completely in the coming months, which supports local and international flights and dealing with an estimated 630,000 passengers annually.

This expansion represents a major milestone in the continuous growth of the MASIL joint project throughout Iraq and clarifies Menzies’s commitment to support the country’s aviation infrastructure and long -term development.
