Menzies Aviation granted a land handling license at Miami International Airport

Menzies Aviation, the leading service partner at the world airports and airlines, has obtained a license to provide land handling services at Miami International Airport (MIA). The license, which was from July 1, 2025, will witness Menzies to provide a full set of ground handling services for a five -year period, with options for two additional extensions for two years.

The Menzies license enables a set of services, including slope and luggage processing, passenger services, ticket office, Porter and RAPTENGER, as well as transmission and communications services.

To support local economic development and meet the regulatory requirements, some services will be contracted with the approved local development companies, ensuring mandatory participation of 20 % of the sub -contractors.

Miami International Airport, one of the busiest airports in the United States of the International Traffic Movement for Passengers and Goods, is a vital contact point between North America and Latin America and the Caribbean.

This license is not only the official expansion of the company in land handling services at the airport, but its strategic commitment to the American aviation market, as it currently provides safe and effective ground treatment, air operations and fuel operations in more than 55 airports.

Menzies Aviation will soon launch a local employment campaign to match the demand and will ensure that all employees are training at the highest standards to provide the safest and safer services for their customers in airlines.

“Securing the new land handling license at Miami International Airport – one of the best centers for the international traffic in the Americas – represents a great milestone in our growth strategy. We look forward to building strong partnerships across the airport community with our presence in our ground presence,” said John Redmond, CEO of the Americas.

After Menzies Aviation, the Earth processing license at Miami International Airport appeared in the first week in Air Cargo Week.
