Menzies Aviation appoints new head of safety and training

Menzies Aviation, a leading services partner for global airports and airlines, has announced the appointment of Yogesh Parekh as Chief Safety and Training Officer, effective December 1.

The introduction of the role of Chief Safety and Training Officer reflects Menzies Aviation’s ongoing commitment to enhancing its global safety culture and ensuring training remains flexible, future-ready and aligned with the needs of its growing network.

With over 30 years of aviation experience, Yogesh has deep experience and a proven track record in safety and risk management. Since joining Menzies Aviation, Yogesh has held various roles in operations, safety, audit and risk, including three years as Group Senior Vice President Risk before taking up his final role as Senior Vice President Risk and GSE MEAA in 2024.

A safety professional, Yogesh has extensive experience in developing policies, processes and programs that enhance risk management across global operations. Based in Dubai, he will work closely with Menzies’ regional risk leaders to set consistent standards and drive continuous improvement.
