Logistics UK showcases the best in supply chain

The logistics industry gathered in style on 11 December 2025 for a glittering gala dinner at Park Plaza Westminster Bridge, where the UK Logistics Business Group revealed the winners of its 2025 Logistics Awards.

Now in its ninth year, the annual ceremony honors companies and individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the logistics and supply chain sector over the past 12 months. Supported by Crown Oil, this year’s awards attracted outstanding entries from across the road, rail, marine and air sectors, each demonstrating exceptional commitment, expertise and innovation.

Recognized organizations include Port of Dover, Woodland Logistics, GXO, Glasgow Prestwick Airport and DP World. In a rare decision, the judging panel awarded two winners in this year’s Rising Star category, recognizing the impressive ability of the finalists: Beth Baxter, Fleet Coordinator at Swain Container Solutions, and Elliot Lancaster, Innovation Director at Omnes Global and PhD candidate at Keele University.

The prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Malcolm Wilson, former CEO of GXO Logistics, while John Trenchard, Vice President Commercial and Supply Chain at DP World, received the Logistics Leader of the Year award. Trenchard has been celebrated for his paradigm shift program, which removed 28,000 tons of carbon dioxide and nearly 9 million truck miles in 2024.

The evening also saw the announcement of the Logistics UK Transport Manager of the Year 2025, sponsored by Samsara, with the highest honor awarded to Lee Thompson-Halls, Fleet Transport Manager at Brocklesby Ltd.

Ben Fletcher, UK Logistics CEO, said:
“Every year we are proud to host the Logistics Awards, which showcase the extensive skills, talent and experience of our industry. The quality of entrants was very impressive and served as a reminder of the exceptional organizations and individuals working in this sector today.
Those shortlisted should be extremely proud of their achievements – the competition was fierce, and the judges had a tough job choosing the winners.
