Jeffrez calls the indictment “the disgraceful attack on the rule of law”



The leader of the minority in the House of Representatives Hakim Jeffrez (DN.Y.) criticized the former director of the Federal Investigation Office James Komei as a “disgraceful attack on the rule of law” and argued that the criminal justice system “was” weapon with a weapon.

Kumi was accused on Thursday by the Federal Grand Persons on charges of making a false and obstructing action in Congress regarding his testimony before the Senate in 2020. Komei can face up to five years in prison, according to the office.
