Embraer (NYSE: EMBJ / B3: EMBJ3), a global leader in the aviation industry, and Airlink, South Africa’s leading airline, have signed a component pool program agreement to support ten new Embraer E195-E2 aircraft that Airlink is currently acquiring through a series of leases with Azorra.

Airlink already leverages Embraer’s Pool Program to support the remainder of its all-Embraer fleet. With the inclusion of the new E2 aircraft, the program will eventually cover 78 aircraft, helping the carrier reduce fleet downtime and improve its operational reliability and availability.

“Expanding the Embraer Component Stock Agreement to include our new Embraer E195-E2 aircraft will provide us with the security we need as the aircraft is deployed. This will help us maximize the operational, commercial and economic benefits we expect to derive from the new additions to our fleet,” said De Villiers Engelbrecht, Airlink CEO.

“We are proud to support Airlink’s E2 operations, which are a leading example of innovation and efficiency in regional aviation,” says Carlos Novel, President and CEO, Embraer Services and Support. “Embraer greatly values the trust Airlink has placed in our aircraft and services, and we remain committed to enhancing their success with the most advanced solutions in the industry.
