Do you still use Windows 10? Here’s how to get another year to update for free
Of these, the backup program is the most painless. Some saved credentials, some Windows settings and some Windows apps support your account. It can also back up the folders you specified, if your account has the space for them (5GB of Palry you receive for free, it won’t be very good for, but there).
I used to use the Windows backup app with my Microsoft account in the past, so I automatically submit a free registration to the ESU app. Each option you have selected, click on the registration button and your PC will register for an additional year of updates.
A status message in the Windows Update app confirms that your PC has registered. What if I don’t want to save anything with Microsoft?
We know that some of you do not want to have anything to do with a Microsoft account, despite the company’s pressure as a prerequisite for using any version of Windows 11. If this describes you, the good news is that you can sign up for the ESU app without having to register for backups or without logging into the Microsoft account.
To stop using the backup of Windows, go to the settings, accounts and click on the backup of Windows and turn off all the guarantors to prevent the future backup. You need to clear any previous backup settings by visiting your Microsoft Account Settings in a web browser, moving to the device tab, scrolling down and clicking on “Saved Settings”. Any file that is synchronized via OneDrive can be managed through its web interface.
To log in to Microsoft’s account in general, go to your settings, accounts and information tab. There, you should be able to click on the link titled “Login with a Local Account” or “Sign In automatically to all Microsoft apps” depending on how to log in. Even after deleting all accounts of all Microsoft accounts from PC, you can still sign up for the status of your computer status to get extensive security updates “on the Windows update page. We prefer to be able to get updates without Rigmarole, but for people who can’t install Windows 11 or do not want to install, the extra year of security patches is worth 10 or 15 minutes.
