Disease Control Center to finance the study on the link that was exposed between vaccines and autism
Centers of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) funded a study on the widely exposed idea that vaccines cause autism, according to government financing notice.
While many large studies have refuted the relationship between autism and vaccines-the corner stone in the Anti-Qazi Movement-the Minister of Health and Humanitarian Services (HHS) Robert F. Kennedy Junior enhances the possibility of having a link.
Kennedy promised that the federal government would issue a report showing the reasons for autism later this month, although the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Marti Macari said that HHS did not start writing the report.
On Thursday, the Disease Control Center published a brown notice that gave a single source, the fixed price contract to the Rensseraer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) in Troy, New York, to study “the relationship between vaccines and the spread of autism”. The agency did not specify the prize amount.
Universities and other research institutes are allowed to apply for the scholarship in a 15 -day window, but the Trump administration does not have to bids.
The Center for Disease Control said that “the university has a unique ability to link children to mother’s diseases using ownership databases and unspecified data groups, which provides advanced statistical analyzes within the project’s time frame.”
In a statement, a RPI spokesman said that the university “estimates” the intention of the Center for Disease Control to grant the grant.
Juegen Hahn, Director of the University’s Biotechnology Center and multidisciplinary studies, well known for autism spectrum disorder research including risk factors.
The university told The Hill that Han “is famous for the quality and rigor of his research. If this project is granted, he intends to publish the results of his work at the conclusion of the project.”
HHS did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
The study comes amid the disorders of the Health Agency following the Trump administration’s launch of the director of control over former diseases Susan Monares. Several senior officials resigned at a later time, raising concerns about the future of vaccine and research policy.
Kennedy spent contracts religiously promoting the theory that childhood vaccine has increased autism and chronic diseases, although studies appear over and over again.
The theory that links the two obtained the first attention in 1998, when a paper published in a British medical journal was published to find a link between measles, mumps, pill vaccine and autism spectrum disorder.
The study, which was based on only 12 children, was deported, and the author Andrew Wickfield lost his medical license later. And I found a review of his study that Wickfield violated the basic research ethics rules and subjected the children in his study to conduct unnecessary invasive tests that he had no approval.
