DHL Express opens the new GATWICK service center
DHL Express has announced a new opening Service Center in Gatwick, with an investment of 37 million pounds. MIMS Davies, East Grinstead & Uckfield, attended the official opening of the site, and met with employees and customers.
In recent years, the region has seen an increase in parcel shipments, and calls for a larger facility in a better position to serve its growing customer base. To support this growth, the new service center will host a 2 million pounds of automatic shipping processing system to increase efficiency and organize customer shipments via Sussex, parts of Surrey and Kent. The site covers 115,000 square feet, the site is expected to deal with about 2 million elements every year.

The site also has an entertaining landscape area for employees to enjoy abroad, as well as a quiet room inside the building.
