“TeleMessage is investigating a potential security incident. TeleMessage is a federal contractor, but consumer programs it offers are not approved for use under US Federal Risk and Federal License Program or FEDRAMP. Weiden said in a letter that “several federal agencies” use TeleMessage, claiming that the company “has sold the insecure dangerous communication software to the White House and other federal agencies.”

There is still no complete accounting of US government officials and agencies who have used this software.
