CPK to appoint a general airport building engineer


Centralny Port Komunikcyjny (CPK) launched a tender for the selection of a general contract engineer (GCE), also known as the connection partner, to build his new airport. The company seeks to obtain a contractor working as a project management advisor (PMC) and contract engineer (Building Manager), which brings experience from Greenfield airport projects abroad in addition to large -scale investments within Poland. Tender may be presented until October 20, 2025.

The appointed entity will support the comprehensive management of the entire airport building process, which provides comprehensive supervision and coordination through the site. The tender includes support in areas such as consulting, planning, schedule, integrating design and multiple building contracts into one coherent program. GCE’s comprehensive goal will be to ensure that the CPK airport opens on time, in the range, and on the budget – with a special focus on assessing the quality of proposed solutions.

The installed experience is a major requirement. CPK bids from the entities that have worked, during the past fifteen years, the project manager in building and assigning at least a new airport project (Greenfield), which was delivered either under a construction or design contract, with the minimum annual passenger capacity of 20 million. In addition, a strong experience in providing major infrastructure projects in Poland is estimated.
Offers providers must prove that they are employing a directly experienced team in building the airport. Moreover, financial eligibility requires proof of the minimum net annual revenue of 500 million PLN over the past five years.

CPK: Change a game for the transportation system in Poland

In 2024, CPK has made historical progress in planning the modern and integrated transportation system. Through an airport on the latest model, high -speed railway and road networks at one time, this ambitious investment is scheduled to turn Poland’s connection, pay economic growth, and put the country as a main European transport center.

It is scheduled to open in 2032, CPK will act as a new central Poland airport. The project also includes a high -speed rail network. In a strategic location in the heart of Central and Eastern Europe, CPK will be a major global transportation center. Airways will ensure improved, shorter transfers, and multimodal integration, smooth links between Polish cities, European capitals, and the rest of the world – making travel faster and more convenient than ever.
