Coffee, bananas and cocoa get tariff relief under new trade agreements in Latin America
The White House announced Thursday that it had reached framework agreements on trade agreements with four Latin American countries to reduce tariffs on some goods, such as coffee and bananas. The administration concluded deals with Argentina, El Salvador, Ecuador, and Guatemala. Administration officials said that the agreements will provide tariff relief to those countries on goods that cannot be sold.
