Belimo leads greenhouse gas emissions through SAF and strategic cooperation with swiss worldcargo and Lamprecht Transport

• Belimo Automation AG has made a partnership with Lamprecht Transport and Swiss WorldCARGO to reduce flight emissions through sustainable aviation fuel (SAF).
• The initiative will reduce about 650 tons of Co₂e in its first year, with plans to increase the use of SAF in the future.

In an important step towards sustainable logistics services, BELIMO AUTOMATION AG, which is based in the Swiss -based global pioneering company in the field HVAS, has partnered with Swiss companies Lamprecht Transport and Swiss WorldCARGO to reduce carbon emissions on international air charging shipments. By investing in sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), the initiative will reduce approximately 650 tons of CO₂E emissions in its first year of its operation, while increasing the ambition to increase the percentage of the SAF used in the following years – which represents a concrete contribution to removing carbon from air charging.

This partnership represents an example of best practices for triple cooperation between the charger and the formation of shipping and the shipping department in the airline. It explains how teamwork can make meaningful progress on the road to a more sustainable shipping transmission.

Lamprecht Transport has coordinated logistics services, while Swiss WorldCARGGO facilitated SAF integration in shipping. SAF used in this cooperation is approved and contributes to an immediate decrease in life cycle emissions compared to traditional aircraft fuel.
