Baltic dry index rose to 1403 up 30 points
Today, Monday, April 28, 2025, the Baltic Dry Index rose 30 points, reaching 1403 points.
Baltic Dry Index is composed of Baltic Exchange based in London and includes prices for cargo transported such as coal, seeds and iron ore. This index is based on a daily survey of agents around the world. Baltic Dry reached a temporary peak on May 20, 2008, when the index reached 11,793. The lowest level ever achieved is on Wednesday, February 10, 2016, when the index dropped to 290 points.
