Bad Naomi Osaka playing on the race
Naomi Osaka has always loved. The tennis star is creative on the field and is frank in the interviews, especially on mental health challenges. She was disappointed when she lost last week in the United States Open to Amanda Anisimova, who was defeated in the final match on Saturday by Arena Sabalinka.
But I also believe that Osaka was wrong in her championship statements about racism. And recognition that this may be a key to the breathing of life in my political party.
I talk about Democrats, of course, who look at the world through the perspective of racism. But most Americans – including most American Americans – do not do so. We need to lose this habit if we want to start winning again.
Watch Imbroglio in the open between the Latvian player Gilina Ostapenko and Taylor Townsin, an African American. Townsund won a point by hitting the clear cord but she did not raise her hands in an apology, according to traditional tennis etiquette. Ostabinko shouted clearly, claiming that Townsand had no “category” and “no education”.
Then Osaka allowed the development of its own shot at a press conference after the match. “It is one of the worst things you can say to the black tennis player in a major white sport,” Osaka, whose father was Haiti and his mother is a Japanese.
In other words, she was saying that the note of Ostabinko was racist.
The Internet agreed, detonating it from “racist and racist tennis player” and the threat of Adidas County, the shepherd of Ostabinko. She does not care that Townsand herself said that she “did not take it this way”, when she was asked whether the screaming of Ostapeluko was racist.
There is an ugly history of black anti-black racism in the United States-and in many other parts of the world-but we are not just a product of it. We are all different. We are all individuals. And you cannot assume knowing what is in all of our hearts.
Townsin also said. Historically, I noticed that the Americans of African descent faced “a stigma … from their lack of education.” But she did not know whether Ostapelino had taken this into consideration during their stadium’s argument. “If it has racist tones or not, this is something you can talk about,” said Townsin
Ostapenko spoke to her, of course, and he strongly denied this charge. “I was never racist in my life and I respect all people of people in the world,” she said on social media. “For me, it doesn’t matter where I came from.”
Its puzzling history supports this. Simply put, Gina Ostapenko is bad for many players. It does not matter where they came from.
In 2021, the Australian player told Tomlganovich that she was “no respect” after Tomlganovich Austabinko accused of falsifying a medical deadline. The following year, after a disturbed loss from the German Maria Tatjan, Ostapenko threw a bottle of water at her chair and said that Maria was “lucky” to win. OSTAPENKO was formulated from the court and preserved on social media. “Can we admit that Ostapenko is the worst sport in the game, right?” One of the commentators wrote.
In fact, Naomi Osaka nodded in the same pattern in her observations that indicate the alleged racist Austapinco statement to Townsend. “If you really ask me about the history of Ostabinko, I don’t think this is the most madness in which I said. I will be honest,” said Osaka.
Let’s be honest, then. We have a white player with a long record of reprimanding other white players. But when you spoil a black player, it is supposed to be racist. Its personal history does not matter. All that matters is the global history of the racism that preceded it.
And if you want to continue to lose elections, my colleagues, Democrats, continue to look at life in this way. In the 2023 poll conducted by a public agenda, 77 percent of Americans agreed to be a “serious problem” that “people are very fast in accusing others of racism.”
And if you think it is just eggs they say, think again. In the poll, 77 percent of the Latin Americans and 76 percent of the Asian Americans agreed to the statement. It was part of the African Americans who agreed a little less – 68 percent – but they still represent a great majority.
No wonder our party was the bleeding of the voters, especially colored voters. As the same poll explained, two -thirds of Americans believe that racism “makes life difficult” for non -whites. But they are sick and tired of making everything about racism, because the left -wing white people will not do it.
In a study conducted in 2017, the eggs who attended or graduated from the college were more likely than black or of Spanish origin to agree that the so-called “precise conflicts operations”-such as “Where are you?” Or “You Speak Good English” – she was offensive. Opinion polls routinely show that learners in the college sees more racism in our society more than black or of Spanish origin.
Do we imagine that these white people with deception feel more racist than their goals? This seems border racism itself. It is a formula for more defeat on the road.
So we need to turn things out, now. Say loudly, democrats, and they say it is proud: We are all individuals, and we are all different. Racism is real. But if we assume that he rules everything, we will laugh at the court. Outside his position.
