ASUS VIVOBOOK Pro 15 Review: For creators and gamers

A discrete GPU means that the VivoBook Pro 15 offers solid game performance, even if this is not the main goal of this laptop. I tested a few games, like CyberPank 2077 Vat Marvel competitorsHuman beings, since this is a 40 -series GPU, you have access to the frame generation, which can take over 90 frames per second in the wonderful settings, until you turn off radiation tracking and play in 1080p. On the other hand, a lighter game like Marvel competitors It feels great and shows the right type for VivoBook Pro 15.

Battery life is unfortunately low expectations. A combination of those hungry components and high -resolution OLED display gives a lot of water to power. By playing a local video file, it took only 6 hours and 21 minutes before death. It was with the screen in 100 standard luxury lights and the keyboard lighting was turned off. The heavier loads the battery drains quickly, so this is not the best choice to move.

VivoBook Pro $ 1500 costs $ 1500 and I will be clear: This is a little expensive in my book. The OLED display is great, and it is solid, but if you want to save a pair, there are cheaper laptops that offer similar performance.

Get the VivoBook Pro 16, which was launched last year as well as the RTX 4050. Thanks to some prices since its launch, you can now buy it for $ 1,000. The screen resolution is lower – not OLED – but thanks to the 16:10 screen it is a more modern laptop. It also comes with only 16 GB of RAM instead of 24GB. But this is also a $ 500 price difference. There is also last year Lenovo Yoga Pro 9i, which often reaches $ 1350, also associated with the RTX 4050 and is similar. You don’t get OLED, but this includes a higher -resolution IPS touchscreen with a newer speed of 165 Hz to offset it.

Finally, the problem of VivoBook Pro 16 is the lack of a new GPU processor. The generation CPU update this year probably doesn’t make much difference in the previous Intel chip, and since it uses the same graphics card, it is much more difficult to pay for it. This is especially true because the RTX 5050 is just a few months away. OLED quality still highlights it – if it was not only obsolete in the ratio.
