After sanctions, Nayara’s Indian oil modifier exports found Pasar Baru
Russian -supported Indian Nayara India regulator, Nayara Energy, exports oil products through approved tankers and knocks on the new market this month for reviving sales abroad after the crippling sanctions, LSEG and KPler sending shipping data.
Private -owned companies stopped exports for about two weeks after being approved by the European Union on July 18 for dealing with Russian oil.
Exports of Nayara-Bensin, Gasoil and Jet-Red-Reded Fuel products to around 80,000 barrels per day in August and September to around 138,000 BPD in January-July, KPler data shows.
Nayara has been forced to reduce crude oil run at 400,000 barrels per day in Vadinar in West India to 70% -80% of its capacity, sources who are familiar with the problem said, due to difficulties in the ship chartering and selling fuel from the port after sanctions.
Before sanctions, Nayara sold its fine products to most of the western, Middle East and Asian trading companies to be exported to Asia and northwest Europe, according to traders and shipping data.
After the embargo, most of Nayara’s cargo is bound for the Middle East, Türkiye, Taiwan and Brazil, the data shows.
Since continuing exports in early August, at least 16 diesel cargo, gasoline and jet fuel have been sent to tankers approved by the European Union from the Port of Vadinar, where the Nayara refinery is located, the data shows.
Five tankers who are loaded with Nayara products in August and September floating in Oman and United Arab Emirates, Data shows.
Some tankers transfer ships from Oman and Egypt. Two other tankers issued their cargo in Turkis Energy Storage Tank Farm in Türkiye.
Tanker Blue Bember and Anaya published in Vadinar respectively in August and September, heading to the Port of Brazilian Santos and Paranagua, the data shows.
Nayara Energy, Authority in Oman, UAE and Brazil, Egyptian Energy Ministry and Energy did not respond to requests for comments.
Another opal tanker issued a high sulfur gasoil published from Vadinar on August 22 at the Taichung Taiwan port on September 16, the data showed.
The Ministry of Economic Affairs Taiwan refused to comment. Taiwan has broad sanctions against Russia, but not explicitly prohibits Russian energy imports.
Traders say the main buyer for Nayara gasoline cargo in the Middle East is Redwood Global Supply. Reuters cannot find contact information for Redwood.
