A guest was wounded on the Royal Caribbean cruise after a piece of water flowers was cut off: “Stop the slide!”
(Nexstar) – A guest of the Royal Caribbean icon for the seas in a stable condition after it seemed that a hole was opened in a water slide on Thursday.
Since then, shots of broken water flowers have been making tours on social media, indicating the collection of water on the deck through a hole near the top of the slide.
The injured guest, which was identified by Royal Caribian as an adult, did not fall through the hole, according to a spokesman for the cruise line.
The spokesman said: “Our team provided medical care for a guest when the acrylic glass separated from a water slice while the guest passes through the slide. The guest is treated for its injuries.” “The water slice has been closed for the rest of the sailing pending the investigation.”

Royal Caribbean did not reveal the nature of the guest injuries.
It seems that some joint videos on social media show the moment when the passengers realized that the slide had been broken. Some can hear screaming to the operators “to stop the slide!” Another screams to anyone on the waiting list to return.
Other videos, after the accident, showed different corners of a rough hole in a clear acrylic section of the slide.
“Well, we will always roam royalize but this … this is bad. Especially for the icon of the seas!” One of the women, who seemed to be a passenger on a cruise, wrote on Tiktok. “He convinced my husband to go with me too.”
The icon of the seas is currently on its way to Coco Kai, in the Bahamas, according to Croisemapper. The ship left Florida on Saturday on a 7 -day trip to the Caribbean.
