HP EliteBook Ultra G1i Review: Laptops that all trade

The bones are not naked but are far from luxury. The 14 -inch touchscreen has a resolution of 2,880 x 1800 pixels and the system uses an Intel Core Ultra 7 268V processor. These are a few steps from the main processor model, but still take a step out of the above options you usually find at this price. 32GB of RAM is fair, but the 512GB solid drive feels for money, though it may be a confirmation that most business users rely instead and instead rely on cloud or server -based storage. The ports are acceptable: three USB-C with USB4 support and a USB-A port (flip cover). You need one of those USB-C ports to charge.

According to the above specifications, I was wondering that the performance is generally in the lower side, more in accordance with the actual input level configuration compared to what G1I includes. None of the criteria I implemented than I saw in slower and cheaper cars, I executed the Intel Core Ultra 7 Series 2 processors, and many of my grades I saw that are even unbearable under that level, of course, just a little. I think that overhead of the wolf’s security features this unit shows a minor functional impact that, while not intense, may be more attention when placed laptops under heavy loads.

Battery life in a full -screen YouTube player was a reasonable rating for more than 14 hours, and I was impressed with a completely quiet performance of the laptop. I couldn’t start the fan, no matter how heavy I put the device on the machine. The speakers are good and the screen looks good enough, but it doesn’t blow my socks. I appreciated the keyboard on the device, which only has enough travel and accountability to easily enter the data, while it is relatively silent. The touch screen is spacious but only very short of being large.

As in most laptops today, AI is a key focus for the Elitebook line, and AI Companion HP, the company’s own Gpt-4O skin, is installed on the unit. AI Companion intends to allow you to take advantage of the processor neural processing unit, although it requires an active internet connection to work and not available faster than any online tool. You also get the Double AI task here, as pressing the Copilot button on the keyboard still creates a standard Microsoft Copilot interface.

Temporary sales price $ 1,999 makes the Elitebook Ultra G1i a better deal, but it is not yet measured based on the price of performance against competing systems. However, this offer offers a much more powerful value for its security and management capability, though I still doubt that many of these features have many tools outside of the large and corporate environments.
