State Department suspends visas for Afghan travelers after shooting at National Guard
The US State Department has suspended visas for Afghan citizens after two West Virginia National Guard members were shot near the White House. “The Department of State has immediately suspended the issuance of visas to individuals traveling on Afghan passports. The Department is taking all necessary steps to protect U.S. national security and public safety.”
