Worldwide Flight Services (WFS), a SATS company, has won a cargo handling contract with China Cargo Airlines to mark the airline’s resumption of full cargo flights to Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris.

Starting with the arrival of the first scheduled flight on November 20, WFS is providing cargo warehouse services to support China Cargo Airlines’ three Boeing 777F cargo flights weekly connecting China with the French capital. In addition, WFS will provide full handling of the 777F aircraft and operate ground feeder services for China Cargo Airlines between Paris and regional airports across France as well as other major airports in Europe.

The new contract expands the relationship between WFS, China Cargo Airlines and its parent company China Eastern Airlines, which has been operating for more than 25 years in Paris. The cargo handling partnership is now also present in Arlanda, Bangkok, Barcelona, Copenhagen, Frankfurt, Marseille and Milan.

In addition to the new cargo operations, WFS handles all cargo carried on board China Eastern passengers in Paris.

Laurent Bernard, Managing Director in France, is happy to see the return of China Cargo Airlines’ cargo planes to Paris. “We are very proud of our long-standing partnership in France with China Eastern Airlines and China Cargo Airlines. Both are very important customers of WFS. We greatly appreciate their trust in WFS,” he said.
