China warns of commercial deals with us that harm its interests

China warns other countries of new trade deals with the United States, which may come at the expense of Beijing’s economic interests, as tensions resulting from President Trump’s policies against the country’s rise.

The Chinese Ministry of Commerce said on Monday that it will be discussed against any party that reaches a deal that comes at the expense of Chinese interests, multiple media outlets reported.

China said it will take a firm and mutual counter measures, “according to Reuters.

The Chinese Embassy of the United States did not immediately respond to a request for suspension from the hill.

The Ministry of Commerce said in the position of social media on Friday: “The unilateral imposition began by the additional customs duties by the American team,” said the Ministry of Commerce. “We urge the United States to stop immediately the maximum pressure tactics.”

After stopping the “Liberation Day” tariff on April 2 on dozens of countries, the Trump administration left its Chinese tariff. Although it has announced some exemptions for these import taxes, such as those in Apple Maker Electronics, which integrate the deep -integrated Chinese supply chains, the total level remains at 145 percent.

Administration officials said they are submitting negotiations to obtain commercial deals with dozens of countries.

US Treasury Secretary Scott Beesen said earlier this month that the administration would negotiate with up to 70 countries after the announcement of the American “mutual” definitions, which initially left in place for only one day. Trump put this number with more than 75.

“We can approach China as a group,” said Bessent.

China and the United States dug their heels in bilateral trade negotiations, as both parties refused to come to the table.

In a series of moves, Trump increased the customs tariff for the country from 54 percent to 104 percent and finally to 145 percent.

“At some point, we hope in the near future that China will realize that the days of tearing the United States of America and other countries are no longer sustainable or acceptable,” Trump said on April 9.

A Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman said it would stand on the basis of the US tariff “to the end.”
