Alliance Aviation Group announced a significant milestone for both the company and Ireland’s business aviation sector during the Irish Business and General Aviation Association (IBGAA) Business Aviation Conference at the K Club in County Kildare.

The company has confirmed that the official handover of the new General Aviation Terminal (GAT) at Dublin Airport will take place in mid-February 2026, ensuring a smooth transition and continued excellence in service delivery. This represents a significant advance in Ireland’s business aviation infrastructure and demonstrates the power of collaboration between private sector innovation and public sector interests.

Earlier this year, Alliance Aviation successfully developed a fully certified GAT system within its fixed operating base facility in Dublin. Designed to the highest international standards, the terminal sets a new standard for efficiency, comfort and security in private aviation. The facility features the latest C3 security scanning technology, meeting new regulatory requirements from 1 January 2026, ensuring the entire terminal is compliant with the next generation of international aviation security standards.

“This is a significant achievement for Alliance Aviation and for Ireland’s fast-growing business aviation sector.” said Brendan McQuaid, Co-Founder and Managing Director of Alliance Aviation. “We are proud to deliver a state-of-the-art facility that reflects our commitment to innovation and service excellence and firmly positions Ireland as a major global hub for business aviation.”

The Alliance General Aviation terminal will provide a seamless, world-class experience for private operators, owners and passengers as well as enhancing Ireland’s position on the global business aviation stage.
