Cargojet has announced a scheduled direct air cargo service connecting Canada and expanding into Europe, effective November 1, 2025. The service will connect Liège Airport (LGG), Europe’s leading cargo gateway, to major cargo hubs in Canada.

“By leveraging Cargojet’s industry-leading track record for on-time performance and reliability, we are strengthening the relationship between Canada and Europe while expanding opportunities for our customers,” Pauline Dillon and Jamie Porteous, co-CEOs, said in a joint statement.

“This service allows Cargojet to be at the center of transatlantic trade, supporting the evolving needs of the freight forwarder community with faster transits, reliable service and enhanced flexibility for shippers across both continents.”

“We are pleased to welcome Cargojet to Liège Airport, recognized as one of the best cargo hubs in Europe,” said Torsten Wevers, Vice President Marketing and Sales at Liège Airport. “This partnership represents a big step forward for the LGG community and for logistics in Europe and Canada, opening up new capabilities and connections for our customers and partners.”

This weekly service represents a significant expansion of Cargojet’s global network, providing customers with reliable, time-sensitive capacity and enhanced connectivity across continents. By integrating within Cargojet’s domestic overnight network, the route will provide streamlined connections across Canada, improving overall transit times and providing greater flexibility to freight forwarders, logistics providers and shippers.

Operating on an initial once-weekly schedule, this line enhances access to one of Europe’s most strategic freight hubs, with plans to increase frequency as demand and opportunities continue to grow. This integration supports Cargojet’s long-term expansion strategy and strengthens its position as a trusted partner in the global logistics market.
