Etihad Cargo expands cargo capacity for winter 2025 schedule


  • Etihad Cargo is expanding its winter freight network with new routes and additional flights, strengthening trade corridors across Asia, the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Europe while strengthening Abu Dhabi’s position as a global logistics hub.

Etihad Cargo, the cargo and logistics arm of Etihad Airways, is set to expand its cargo network this winter with additional flights and new routes, marking a major step in boosting capacity. This expansion strengthens key trade corridors across Asia, the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Europe, while strengthening Abu Dhabi’s position as a leading logistics hub linking East and West.

The winter schedule introduces an additional freight service to the UK, with two new weekly flights to the East Midlands. Starting October 27thyThe new line connects Abu Dhabi to the main UK distribution network for local and European deliveries.

Etihad Cargo will also expand its capacity across key production markets in Asia, by adding additional flights to Shanghai (+1), Hong Kong (+1), Shenzhen (+6), and Ezhou (+1). This expansion is in line with the carrier’s participation in the Air Cargo Show Southeast Asia (ACSA) 2025, the region’s leading gathering for the global air cargo industry. Etihad Cargo’s presence at ACSA highlights its growing presence in Asia and its efforts to connect exporters and companies with new opportunities.

In addition, the increase in weekly cargo flights to Riyadh (+2), Paris Charles de Gaulle (+1), and Frankfurt (+1) will support the growing movement of goods and ensure greater flexibility for customers looking for efficient and reliable connections throughout the season.

The expanded cargo flight schedule builds on Etihad Airways’ recent announcement of the launch of 16 new destinations for passengers between November 2025 and March 2026, including Addis Ababa, Algiers, Almaty, Baku, Bucharest, Chiang Mai, Kazan, Krabi, Medan, Medina, Phnom Penh, Tashkent, Tbilisi and Yerevan.
