Elementary Airport has been revealed
Chicago Rockford International Airport (RFD) has been named Elementary General Airport By the IDOT Ministry of Transport, the Aviation Department. The award was presented at the Illinois Public Airport Conference in Galina on September 29, acknowledging the distinguished RFD achievements, safety and contributions record in the Illinois and Economy.
The primary airport is defined by the Federal Aviation Administration as one with more than 10,000 passengers annually. RFD got the honor of its strong partnership with IDOT, the commitment to customer service, the maintenance of the facility, and the promotion of aviation and educational events.
