And so we just don’t know, and I think it’s a problem. Referring to the White House, President Trump appears to have a new favorite billionaire, and this is the headline of your report. You wrote this week about the relationship between the technical billionaire, the growing relationship between Larry Ellison with President Trump. In your piece, one of your sources even mentions Ellison as a shadow president, which is really trapped to me because I feel that this is the term we have usually booked for Elvan Musk. So, talk to me about how these two men are approaching.
Jake Lahout: So, the interesting thing about Ellison is that he is rotating for a while on the sidelines of the Trump world. He was previously a truly reliable supporter of the Democrats. At present, even if he is one century, he has always been a little staining as much as the donation goes, from someone from his caliber. He is not like Elvan and pumps $ 300 million in a campaign. But his transformation begins during Obama’s era, where the former president’s relations with BBC Netanyahu began to deteriorate. Ellison is a very stubborn supporter, not only Israel and the Israeli government, but especially IDF and the Israeli army, and he begins to become a more reliable donor for the Republicans. So, I have a source who knows Ellison’s family in this story tells me that about 10 years ago, Larry Ellison was searching for people who wanted to become President Marco Rubio.

Jake Lahout: In the early 2024, he supports the Scott team, which seemed, well, you support President Trump’s rival, this must make you a personality. It looks like many Trump advisers, and they told me during the campaign, they thought Larry Ellison supported the Scott team, in fact he was really a fan of them and he pledged a lot of money. How much of it is actually ending with the support of the SUPER PAC from the Scott team. But basically, the Scott team was drawn out as an insurance policy and was pulled out, and people like Desantis, and especially Nikki Haley, were still around, both Scott and Nikki Haley from South Carolina. So then he comes with the rest of the technology kids during the summer, and the difference with Ellison is that one, he has eyes and ears everywhere, what I hear from people who are familiar with his performance. He does not use donor consultants and a complete companion to give him politics with politics. Instead, he likes to violate his candidates, and he has made initial bets for those in the Trump administration. Most importantly, he was a primary donor and a donation for Tulsi Gabbard for the Democrat for Tulsi Gabbard. Perhaps illegally, Larry Ellison owns 98 % of Hawaiian Island of Lania among his other significant purchases. So at this point, with the Oracle Server trade, he allows him to fly a little under the radar because servers and software as a service, not truly the most sexy business compared to many other people around Trump. And then you add his son, David, who runs Skydance Paramount parents’ company, which may also get the Warner brothers, discovery. This means that the Ellison family does not only control the CBS and all of these entertainment features, but also potentially CNN. And suddenly, when you magnify, you look at a family that integrated into human data and attention in the way a golden age family such as Vanderbils or Rockefellers did for rail and oil. So, it was a truly fascinating piece that just does not necessarily need to say things for Trump to make things happen. She’s just so good, you know?
