“SIM FARMS” is a spam plague. Federals say that a giant in New York threatened US infrastructure
The wiring phenomenon of farms, even on the scale available around New York, is very new. Cybercriminals have long been using huge sets of central SIM cards for everything, from spam to rotation to fake accounts and interaction with social media or advertising campaigns. The SIM cards are typically located in wire boxes that can control more than a hundred cards at the same time, which in turn connect to servers that can control thousands of SIM cards.
