These 15 New York Ice and NYPD officials arrested in Manhattan
These problems show a wider pattern across the United States, where watchdogs and courts have flagted poor hygiene and blocked access to ice facilities from Arizona to Louisiana.

In a statement, Yasmin Farang, executive director of the Immigrant Defense Project, praised the legislators’ actions on Thursday and accused the US government of “severe abuse of power”, and made New York Governor Katie Huchul to use his transparent authority to guard the immigrants.
“New York leaders cannot allow this oppression to be resolved,” he said. “The moment that is acting now.”
