Poland “neutralizing a drone operating on government buildings”: the Polish Prime Minister
Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said on Monday that his country “neutralizing a drone is working on government buildings”, less than a week after his country had shot down several Russian drones that violated Poland’s airspace.
“Just now, the state protection service neutralized a drone working on government buildings (Parkowa) and Belweder.
Last Wednesday, Poland evoked Article 4 of the North Atlantic Treaty after the combat aircraft that dropped several Russian aircraft that entered into the Polish air area illegally.
Russia said it had not intentionally sent drones to the airspace, but the procedure led to a protest from NATO allies.
“What is clear is that the violation last night is not an isolated accident,” said NATO Secretary -General Mark Retti on Wednesday. “Whether it is intentionally or not, it is completely reckless. It is very dangerous.”
The recent Eastern Europe tensions also came amid the Trump administration’s efforts to end the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine. President Trump recently met with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska and shortly after Ukrainian President Volodimir Zellinsky at the White House.
On Sunday, Representative Rick Crowford (R-Ark) said that Putin “sticks to his thumb in Ain NATO.”
“I do not know if he is trying to call for the response of Article 5, but it is … he really offers his position,” added the Republic of Arkansas. “Then, this must be an invitation to wake up to the European Union and other countries that, we look at we need to tighten these sanctions. You have to stop buying Russian oil. You have to bring this man to his knees.”
