The agreement was signed at the Global Shipping Symposium in IATA by Badr Abbas, Vice President of the UAE Department of Skycargo and Pete Chareonwongsak, CEO of Teleport. The agreement between the UAE Skycargo and Teleport supports these flourishing relationships and sets a basis for further growth, by improving commercial flows and generating new opportunities that help enhance global economies.
The UAE Skycargo started its operations for the first time in Southeast Asia with direct flights to Singapore, Bangkuk and Manila in June 1990. Now, the airline runs 5 shipping and 176 passengers per week to 11 destinations throughout the region. There is more expansion on the horizon with the upcoming launch of passenger services to Siem Reiap, Cambodia and Da Nang, Vietnam in June 2025, with both cities connected via Bangkok.
