The expansion of the PEGASUS ULD network meets the growth of the market
Sonoco Thermosafe added additional capabilities via the global PEGASUS ULD network to meet the increasing need for effective transportation for pharmaceutical charges and life sciences through the air.
Pegasus Uld is an advanced container that is controlled by the TCC temperature (TCC) available through a direct rental contract from Sonoco, or via the growing global network of strategic partner airlines and shipping combinations. Additional service capabilities are provided via the PEGASUS ULD global network in North America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East. Additional functions include storage, version, return, inspection, cleaning, pre-air conditioning of PCM and container bottles, delivery, assembly, document processing (UCR/LUC), MRO-Part 145 for maintenance and repair, and spare parts management.
Sonoco’s global services network supports this expansion with strategic partnerships with ground handling partners and MRO partners, including ACL AIRSHOP, Unilode Aviation Solutions, Swissport, Alha Group and Focus WFS.
